  1. Great article! I’m also not a huge fan of Hemingway but have plotted through his sad, depressing novels…I’m just too happy a person to enjoy them! F. Scott was a totally different novelist – although sad at times also…. πŸ™‚

  2. Very much enjoyed this review of your time with Hemingway!

    Hemingway and Fitzgerald, to me, always seemed akin to the Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western masterpiece, “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”.
    They all share the same bittersweet view of life from very different vantage points; and I have enjoyed all three immensely.

  3. Oddly, to many people who know my love for reading, I’ve never read any of Hemingway or Fitzgerald.. Neither has ever captured my interest to pick up a book.. Maybe someday..
